Here he is in Pigeon Forge on a SAN-TYS run. All that white around his feet and ankles? Epoxy from the times TSA had to break his feet off to make certain he wasn't full of anthrax or something.

On the trip back to LHR, I realized his mouse ears were not going to last...glue seems to have worked.

Back in NY, and I am wondering- why is it soooooo hot? yep, I know it was even worse, but after two weeks in the heights of Hokkaido (and even there I was able to catch the surprisingly unusual heatwave that hit furano area), I can't get adjusted to the humidity and high 90's here... hard!

As for the flight back-
flat bed, upper deck, 747-400, with kryptonium level of service. Unlike the flight two weeks ago which was a total meltdown of service, this one was super.

Good m/a/e, all. I just got back from an internet-free vacation in the N. Georgia mountains. I'm glad the internets didn't collapse while I was gone. But apparently a lot of folks have gotten into a tizzy over the SQ award space being released to *A partners. I didn't expect to be booking another vacation right after getting back from one, but couldn't resist the chance at getting to try out SQ F. So it looks like I'll be heading to SIN/HKG in October. I haven't been to either of those cities yet, so I'm hoping the reservations stick.
