ugh time to drive to Northern NJ and hope there isn't much traffic or crazy drivers on the way up which will never be true... Have a good weekend everyone!
Good m/a/e! Feels good to be back home in Canada! Other than arriving 20 minutes behind schedule, nothing eventful took place on the once the flight touched down in YYZ (the flight itself was also noneventful). As a matter of fact, there was only light rain coming down and little to no snow on the airport ground. All that storm Environment Canada was predicting turned out to be dodged for a good part: http://www.citytv.com/toronto/citynews/news/local/article/189354--toronto-dodges-winter-wallop So that not only made things smoother for our landing and taxiing, but also did so for Mrs. Rejuvenated and her cousin’s commute to the airport to come pick me up as they didn’t have to deal with the white stuff for the entire drive. However since we live in the northern burbs (further north than both the downtown core and Pearson Airport), snow is definitely the theme outside our home. And as we drove home, it got snowier as we proceeded further north. And since I didn’t feel too exhausted, I also was the one driving us home. Overall it was another great flight with KE J. Service was superb, the fully flat seat (Prestige Sleeper) very comfortable and the meal was also very delicious especially the Bibimbap I had. Okay it wasn’t as tasty as the one I had in Seoul Wednesday night, but it was tasty for a business class meal. The only thing that didn’t work out too well was the sleep, even with Melatonin. I only managed about five hours. However that was as a result of the timing of the flight (morning departure/morning arrival) more than anything else. It was simply too early to get an extended sleep at the early stages of the flight and I couldn’t do so until the midway point of the journey. Clearing CBSA at YYZ T3 was also relatively quicker than usual. The flight today took more of a southerly route to ride the tail winds as we flew above Japan, then across the Pacific, then above Vancouver Island, then above the northern states of the US mainland before re-entering Canadian airspace for our descent and landing into YYZ: This is a fairly common route for this direction and the polar route I had on the YYZ-ICN direction last week was nowhere close to be used for this flight. Anyways I don’t have to work today and I’ll have the weekend as well to relax and rest up a bit before going back to the normal office routine on Monday. How is everyone today?
Mrs. Rejuvenated has a cousin here who's been living with us here for many years. Lived with us while she was attending college and still living with us as she is now working full time. She's great to have around the house and when she's around, she does lighten the spirit when things are sort of dull at home. Overall we treat her as if she's part of the family as her parents are back in HK.
Good afternoon Woofy! Just in case I don't see you online again today, I would like to wish you safe travels and a wonderful time in Cuba with your hubby and Ethan.
YAY! So happy to hear that you arrived safely and fairly on time. Where are you, your wife and her cousin heading to eat now?
So much for not going outside today. Had to drive 20 min to the children's museum parking lot to swap my wife's flat tire for the spare. Then drove to the diner she and her friend (and kids) were at and then she drove me back to the parking lot with the car. At least it wasn't raining while changing the tire. Pants are dirty from kneeling in the ground, but I'm sure to get some laundry tips from this lounge. Sent from my iPhone using milepoint
Woof! Woof! Hi there! Plenty of snow out here as displayed by this cam near our home: And that snow that's been falling has just turned rain coming down now. But glad the snow is up here and not at YYZ when my flight was landing.
