Do they still invite you to their frat parties? ______________________________ Anyway, on the home front, I took Donna for a brief visit with Mossy and Goldie, the first time since she's been exiled and since Brooster passed away. I held on to her, didn't let her run around. Mossy was scared of her, hid in the corner; Goldie went straight up to her and stood staring right at her for three minutes, while Donna put her had down, cooed and whined very softly, and Goldie spoke to her. They talked a bit, then Goldie went back to the food and to Mossy. Donna has been quiet since, and sometimes coos and talks very softly to me- she never used to talk that way before, it was a stronger voice. She realizes they hold her partly responsible, and they don't like how she behaved in the past; she's not angry any more, she seems humbled a bit. Goldie is showing her authority, that she is now taking over at the top of the pecking order, and that is good because Goldie has a steady hand. She's very kind to little Mossy. We'll bring Donna for another visit in a couple days, then if all goes well, a couple days later let her spend an hour or two with them; by then Mossy's feathers should be growing back nicely.

Oh, Daniel... I lost a close school friend to suicide shortly after we both graduated from university. Such a tragic loss of a young life.
True. But many organizations hiring semi-transient employees keep places to house them. The leases are long-term while the occupants rotate through on a short-term basis as they serve their assignments. Hi FS, GB and others! Only back 100 or so....
