Ah, yes. I "did a search" (spending a bit of time on FT these days I guess ) and saw that. The "V" is a Canadian designation; we don't have it in the States. We used to have an "L" designation, but no longer do. There were two different wheelbases offered in the US on the S-Class in 2006, but the wheelbase was dependent on the engine, so you arguably didn't need the letter to know long or regular. The 6-cylinder had a 116.7" wheelbase, all others (S430, S500, S600 and AMG variants) had 121.5". We haven't had an "L" designation since they switched from 500SEL to the S500 naming convention. Have you been happy with 4Matic? The original models (in the late 80s) were jerky. I presume they've improved significantly.
Good m/a/e all. It was! Sounds like you're very motivated on the "get healthy" lifestyle Good to hear!
I worked on the Sydney games back in the late 90's for SOCOG, the Govt organising committee and i can tell with all the build up and enormous preparation that goes into hosting the world's largest event, there is enormous excitement.
Morning Horse, surprised we have such a beautiful day, thought all the forecasts were for rain enjoy the day
