Morning all, quite cheery here as our " competitor " store the small takeaway next to our shop is having their signage removed today and will just be rental accommodation from now on. We have had a series of people lease it and go broke after 6 month or a year depending on their starting financial situation. Now we will get all ice cream & soft drink sales and they also sold fishing bait there so we have the only outlet in town for that now as well.

yes K, there's an oversupply of females so i'm doing the right thing by all those girls that wouldn't get a chancemy daughter is very attractive so if you took into consideration the crush factor, by keeping her out of the dating pool i'm probably assisting up to a dozen girls who would have otherwise not had a very good chance, just doing my bit giving back to society
We get in a bit of trouble with the tax department as our profit fluctuates depending on whether the takeaway is open or shut down over the course of the year. Expecting a please explain letter when next years figures are submitted
Good news Savy, will you consider increasing take away food items?, a brick oven for pizza or some deep fryers in PO maybe, i see 7 eleven do a lot in the microwave packs these days

I would call this for what it is.... but in 9 years or so....(and since I do not have a son)....I am sure I will agree in some way shape or form regarding my then 13 yr old daughter......
Only things that can be microwaved at home. We have an agreement with the local council to have just a pie oven with pies in protective bags. I am sure we could stretch that to a self serve coffee machine but they can be costly to buy or the alternative is getting a free machine and the supplier keeps most of the profit. To make someone a sandwich or heat something in a microwave or make a cup of coffee you need a takeaway licence which involves inspections and a commercial kitchen being installed up to code. Also now one staff member must complete a 3 month course at TAFE on food handling and kitchen safety procedures We are not that keen to get involved. The local pub has their cook doing takeaway now from 12 pm until 2 pm along with their regular meals. Good enough for a little place like this.
