I've been out all day- attended a funeral and shiva, stopped at a stone mill and picked up a piece, and spent money at home depot for more air pipe and fittings... glad to see y'all haven't been idle in my absinthe.
Departing LAS. Exhausted (and in a not so good way). On board DL now. Dinner and golf with customer extremely successful. Mission accomplished. Really want to be home and not have to travel for a while. This has been too much.
The FA on my flight is saying it is against FAA regulations to store iPods in the seatback pocket. I've heard (and even understand) such a rule about laptops, but iPods? Whilst of course I will follow all crew member instructions, anyone know if this is really an FAA regulation?

Good evening K. I hope you're having a nice day. My wife said it was quite nice "back east" today. About 2 hours away from JFK... Enjoying free gogo for Milepoint on delta. The charges are now $17.95 and $15.95 for service on flights out to las and lax. That is starting to creep up on me as being too steep. But mp is free....and mp is half of what I'd probably do anyway...so it works out. DL has live tv on this flight...watching the US open...I didn't know DL offered this service. I guess it is on the old song 757s...and perhaps only those? Nice to have, but so inconsistent/infrequent within their fleet that it engenders no real loyalty value for them.
I was just looking for it to see if anything was going on and indeed it is locked. Maybe we'll see if we can sneak the key from the principal's drawer?
