C, i recommended fronting there yourself to speak to them after you mentioned you'd phoned and spoke with two different staff members and they both said the same thing that it wasn't there, you may be much more fortunate in Canada and i do remember times more like that in Aus as a kid, but these days in NYC you can't afford to leave anything of value in a public space, it's the equivalent of an invitation to treat. I think the three phone calls has exhausted that avenue, i still recommend fronting there to speak with them face to face if you get a chance, although they may be different staff, it's worth a shot
the hurdler looks like the biggest flirt, either that or ADD, maybe it's one in the same, that footage was the equivalent to a striptease
Yes, Tim, I know I made a big mistake. Unfortunately, there has been no opportunity for me to return either yesterday or today and I really don't want to go back tomorrow by myself (both Daniel and Tmore are leaving in the morning) and pay $50.00 in taxi fare, We have actually made 4 phone calls to the pub and I think it is time for me to let this go. I will get a new phone when I return home... have learned a very valuable lesson. Sent from my iPad using milepoint
that's true too, but if you leave glasses, empty or half full on a table in a bar, and no one is there, they will clear the table, assuming that you've left
You may also want to find out if there is any CCTV in the venue. This may help answer the issue of who lifted your phone. I also recommend that you get a police report.
One last word on the stolen iPhone. There are rumors that the lost and found for O'B Family Restaurants LTD Australia has the largest collection of iPhones in the Universe that were left by folks blottoed by the strong drinks. You may be able to get a gently used one from them.
It is gone and that is that. A painful lesson but I see no point in dragging this out... will just buy a new one when I get back home. The important things were that 1) it had a passcode on it so no information could be accessed and 2) the service was blocked by my cell phone provider and no one had used it since my last text on Thursday evening. Case closed!! Sent from my iPad using milepoint
