You have to be a bit "nuts" to believe you can change the world $25 at a time. :D

Luckily for the MP KLT fcjapan agreed to make 1000 new money loans of $100 each and make a contribution of $5000 to the MP Kiva Mutual Fund and a matching donation of $5000 to Kiva directly were i to agree to allow him to make public our alleged exchanges. Of course I agreed.

Hello everyone I'm in Dallas! I can see the Sixth Floor from m room.

I had lunch at the Iron Cactus because I liked their name. I then visited the Sixth Floor Museum which was interesting. $2 military discount - woo!

It's my last night in Dallas so I will be putting on a pretty dress and eating dessert for dinner.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me to explore Dallas tomorrow? Otherwise I've found a knitting store to check out.

I'm having a Lone Star Beer at a bar and the barman just offered to buy me a shot. I'm thinking two cold beers then back to my hotel.

    I declined his shot offer.

She's just a country lass in the big city. Being on the sixth floor of a building is huge in Brisbane.

jbc has suffered enough. He thinks people are angry at him for his bragging about his Kiva loans. This is a traveler's bb. They are jealous of his EXP status on AA.

The Sixth Floor Museum is in the former Texas School Book Depository where Lee Harvey Oswald hung out in November, 1963.

I wonder if MissBurrill is going to get big hair and start a new fashion trend in Oz.

Adios fcj. Keep up the good fight for Kiva and jbc's reputation. To parapharase Rufus T. Firefly: "We're fighting for this man's honor which is more than he ever did".

Oh, the horror of all this. The truth commission raises it's ugly spectre. After being EXP since it was invested and TOP before that I reverted to my Lifetime Platinum status a couple of years ago when i switched to *A and ST for most of my travel. Since february I have been flying AA again due to the rampant bribery of Maya Liebmen, who agreed to make a Kiva pledge if I'd come back to AA. So I did. I'll have my EXP back sometime soon.

This morning in the shower I discovered I can see the sixth floor window from the book depository whilst having a shower! I'm paying under $130 including taxes and have an amazing view. I'll have to post photos when I get home.

I booked a corner queen but when I checked in they gave me a small room. I took my paperwork downstairs and showed them I needed a corner queen. Her computer said no but her paperwork also said corner queen so I was moved to what I had booked.

It is so refreshing to learn that not everyone assails jbc for how he spends his money.

Random question, possibly in the wrong thread - what's the plan for our next Do? If it's the weekend before or after the knitting convention in San Francisco 21 - 24 Feb I can probably attend. Although I was disgusted by one of the organisers being drunk at the knitting pyjama party. He argued with hotel security and encouraged people to yell and cheer at 11pm in the lobby/attrium. Perhaps it would be better if I came to our Do and knitted.
