So MissB, what's the latest on the political scene? Do you think Kev is going to roll the Ranga?
Wow! Lots going on in Australia. Guess the outcome will be known on Monday!
The people want Kev but caucus want the Ranga. Is possible the independents won't support Labor anymore. Bill Shorten might become PM in a few months if the Ranga wins. The GG won't dismiss parliament if her son in law is PM (or would she???)
Exciting times indeed. I was in the USA when the Ranga backstabbed Kev.
And there's a great hashtag going round #kevenge
I can't stand the Ranga. I always felt that the way she came to power was a true reflection of her character. That they went to the polls and were not able to achieve outright power said what the peeps thought. The caucus probably want the Ranga because they can manipulate her.
Good m/a/e, all. Just wanted to come in and admire the new lounge and enjoy the new lounge smell while it lasts.
Good m/a/e to you too, LizzyDragon84. Welcome to the Kiva lounge!
Could not find a definition for: marsupialitarian
Hi Lizzy. The new smell will be here for awhile. Canucklehead has hired fcjapan who has been doing a great maintenance job in the week we have been open.
Good M/A/E loungers
From the Tondoleo Dictionary:
marsupialitarian: one who enjoys eating the flesh and/or innards of marsupials. Usually humanoids in the down under region of earth where various species of marsupials live.
How are you Tahkuct. It is nice to see you here. I am here since my bride has bogarted the tv and is watching a political show replaying highlights of the Republican Debate from last night.
Makes sense now
Doing fine. Has been hectic (full of frantic activity) week so my presents on milepoint is very limited.
I am happy to see you here.
Happy to be here. it is much better then watching political debate
Have anybody watched the last episode of Pan Am? Is it worth watching it?
I am going to have to confess that I have never eaten kangaroo. My reticence is related to the best television show ever - Skippy The Bush Kangaroo. We grew up watching it every night when we came home from school. Skippy was a legend, he could do anything, outwit criminals, save people stranded in the bush, fly helicopters. Just imagine Lassie reincarnated as a kangaroo but way cooler.
So based on that reasoning I could never eat Skippy or his relatives in case I am lost in the bush one day I may need his help.
I gave up on Pan Am after the second episode. It was painful to watch, the storylines were so slow and weak.
I have watched them all except the last 2.
I'd like to be able to sign a pledge to vote for any politician who stays away from my hometown. (The traffic disruptions are annoying and inconvenient.) I'd even vote early and often for anyone who stays off the airwaves during the election season, all 3.9 years of it.
