    Good morning from MUC. This mornings nugget from a frequent traveler ticketed on this years charter: "You need a passport to get in to Canada???"

    Time to get back to the airport here in MUC and head to Chicago! Safe travels everyone!

    An old friend of mine who was at the time a die-hard Manhattanite used to claim he would need a passport to go from NYC to New Jersey.

    (he lives in NJ now so I always make fun of him for emigrating!)

    We don't do passports in Texas. We just look for the State emblem tattooed on your shoulder. It is automatically done at birth. ;)

    looks like our gamble for DUS paid off. we beat 430 by 2 hours. but i bet they had a blast in the lounges though.

    Well, three of us were on LH 434 and got in on schedule more or less around 6:40pm. Decided to go to the hotel rather than downtown due to exhaustion. With all three having Global Entry the longest wait was for the hotel shuttle (about 15 minutes). Check-in was super-quick. I'm guessing we'll be dead asleep by the time the group gets back from Park Hyatt, so see you tomorrow morning!

    I'm about to publish my 1000th post. Wonder what happens on MP then?

    The contest to win Randy seats on SMD3 gave me the big boost. I can't remember if there was a recovery thread for that or this will have to do, but I figure my 1000th post should go there. Or does anyone have better suggestion for where it belongs?

    By the way, is anyone going to the Oneworld shindig? I'm planning to pass.

    I'm planning on going, but then again, for me, it's a short, intra-state trip.

    From the published guest list, I counted about 20 or so SMDers who will be at the OWMD launch party on Sunday.
