The Kaminarimon (雷門 "Thunder Gate"?) is the outer of two large entrance gates to Senso-ji, an ancient Buddhist temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. The gate, with its lantern and statues, is popular with tourists. The current Kaminarimon Gate and giant lantern were rebuilt in 1960.

Statue of Hachiko at Hachiko Square near the Shibuya Station. It is one of the most popular meeting point in the area. Hachiko waited for his late master at Shibuya Station every day from 1923 to 1935 and therefore became a national celebrity for his loyalty.

Panoramic shot looking southeast from Roppongi Hills. (I took this using my old mobile phone; the panoramic effect was achieved by swinging the phone around in an arc, which explains the distortion.)
