I finally worked my first FD for Kobe Kobe. Quite happy about it, will be better if I can FD a fare I can fly!
Long time lurker, first time poster. First of all thanks to all who make this board possible, quite a difference from what you get at the other board. Still learning my way on this, and I am able to use some 3x that drop up to 50% YQ in OW. The problem is that I need something that works for *A, specifically I need to do C1-C2 (Spain) by next month. Any input on what works for this is appreciated; PMs are welcome, and thanks in advance.
I'm flying from the Big Easy to Sushi in April on the groom; 560ish points to weight watcher off. I managed to get it ai down to 679... anyone have any better success?
I'm sorry, you're right. Must've missed that part. Other than this we agree to disagree. One thing I find funny tho': your desire to remove any discussions from the open about your openness regarding dumps. Go figure.
You just need to find a way Scott can get paid for the page views of the discussion and he'll change his tune.
I just think that if you have a problem with me, venting it here isn't going to solve your issue. If there are things you want me to change, shoot me an email and we can talk about it. Let the people who want to work on fuel dumps get back to their discussion about what trips they're working on and what they need help with.
By the same logic I think I'm going to start calling the airlines about every new deal. When anyone complains I'll just tell them to contact me in person and get back to discussing the deal.

Hello all- So here's my problem/question. Using ITA I have found a 3x for a C1>C2 ST itin that dumps about 40-45% of YQ. But my problem is how to book it. The complicating factor is that I'm trying this on a J ticket, so I'm having trouble finding the site that will allow me to book the C1>C2 portion in J, but force the 3x into economy. Is there an online tool out there that I can build my exact itinerary and have it priced out or am I at the mercy of the restrictions of the travel sites search engines? I've negotiated and gone around the globe, but neither works.
mad_iceman- Just tried it, and pretty much the same story. Only one option was returned and that option forced the 3x into business class, which basically defeats the purpose of the 3x. Has anyone actually gotten these tricks to work on a J fare? Also, will gladly post info about the 3x if anyone is interested. As I said it theoretically works on my J itinerary, but it should also work for a Y ticket as well. This is worth about 40% of the YQ on an ST C1>C2 booking. If anyone can do better than that, would love to hear from them.
I guess the only good solution might be to find a such addition that has no J cabin on that specific route.
The 3x route that I selected doesn't have a business class in the direct route. But the booking sites do one of two things: 1) Say "Sorry, no flights meet your criteria" or 2) Apply some convoluted routing through distant cites that does have business class. What I need is a site that will give me the third option: Say "No business class on this route, so here's an economy flight instead."
