During Mass this morning, the priest called us up to the altar and married us again. We were both totally surprised. Joe was saying "Did you arrange this as a surprise for me?" I was saying, "No, I thought you arranged it as a surprise for me." The priest surprised both of us. So, here we are all married up, as witnessed by the entire congregation, once again. I really don't think this one will last as long as the original, but, who knows? If we do happen to live to be 106 and 108, I sure hope we can still dance.
Congratulations and may you have many more happy years together ahead of you. Flying somewhere for the second honeymoon?
Thanks to all. No second honeymoon right now but we did take a fabulous trip to Rome in December and a 10-day cruise to Aruba in early January. We do have trips planned to Switzerland, Puerto Rico, and Croatia later in the year and, oh yeah, one to Des Moines, Iowa, later this month. It was great to see you Mike and your beautiful bride at the party.
Congratulations to you both. I sang at a Mass on Saturday for some dear friends who were renewing their vows after 25 years of marriage and it was such a lovely day. I thought it was especially nice that their two sons could participate by doing the readings.
Thanks everyone and special thanks for the lovely compliment, Cholula. Janet, I didn't cry, but I did get that tingly emotional feeing, just like the first time.
