Fox News (or Faux News, depending on your political leanings) had an article on "outrageous frequent flyer perks", which basically listed a number of crazy & unique awards that one could score with points.

    Including this one:

    Described as
And a cost of 14,700 AAdvantage miles. Does anyone know what award this actually is?

Not sure, but maybe it was won as an AAdvantage auction?

If you book with AAVacations, additional activities are offered as an add-on to the vacation package. Do a dummy booking for BRU and you will see the offer pop up. Frankly, it is a lousy value:

Interesting that AA values its miles at a half cent each here. The beers would probably cost around 40 Euros total if you bought entire beers and drank them, but if you did you would have a hard time finishing the tour. You really don't need a tour guide to do this, just a list of the beers you would like to sample. Every day at lunch or dinner, you will get a chance to order these beers. Restaurants and cafes will all feature a nice selection.

    Waste of miles IMO.
