Good ideas. How about also a MilePoint handle wrap ... I have a soft, velcro, colorful wrap around a handle on my carryon and checked bags. How about one with a MilePoint name/logo/website in a variety of colors. I also like the idea of "business cards". I have spoken with a few folks on planes about travel web communities and handing them a card (with my handle maybe?) is better then having them writing it on a piece of scrap paper.
MilePoint candy with wrappers that have Thank You! printed on them that we can hand out to FAs and GAs (something that won't melt when carried around)
+1 for bag tags and the card wallets. Another idea (totally not related to travel) would be the reusable shopping bags. Imaging spotting other MPer's at the grocery store!
another vote for bag tags. I will display them proudly on all luggage. wouldnt mind a bumper sticker either!
I agree with the umpteen previous posters who suggest luggage tags. Posting this is simpler for me than clicking umpteen likes - I have to get with the program. Having spent my life in ed biz rather than the business world, I have no idea if a partnership down the road with, say, a recognized travel clothing and/or accessory company that would offer products with MP logos at a discount for members would be mutually profitable. FWIW.
Luggage tags are a requirement, but ideally I would like to see two versions. One like the IC Ambassador tags that is nice and fancy for putting on your carry-on bag, and then a cheaper one that is designed to be beat up, similar to the Priority Club luggage tags (plastic card) and these are the ones that could eventually become the charity tags. Tote bags are useful as there are many cities around the world shifting to charging you for any bags with your purchases, and would be a good conversation starter. Shirts are nice, but incredibly difficult to get to a good price unless you can ensure either a good volume or a sweetheart deal from the supplier. I could actually see a good branded laptop sleeve and/or iPad case.
I like the bag tag idea, but also T-Shirts. Not sure if it's a proprietary idea, but another forum had ones for sale that said "What part of "upgrade" don't you understand?" I bought one.
luggage/bags tags (i like the idea of having them credit card size or only slightly larger so they don't get ruined in transit) reusable bag/tote card wallet, passport holder and/or ticket jacket
Luggage tags, especially if metal and classy with leather straps leather embossed handle wraps leather embossed card wallet leather embossed passport holder coffee mug (makes starting the daily grind a little easier to think of MP quality time later in day ) reusable tote bag that can close so it can be for shopping or an extra carry on after trips where bags are always overflowing Would certainly pay for quality stuff but get way to many freebie cheap disposable tags, etc.
I second all of these - would like to see a quick start with luggage tags. After that, totes and coffee mugs.
Any passport holder should have some RF shielding to protect from passport skimming, since the newer passports can be easily read without a RF protective covering
Yep, count me in with a vote for luggage tags, reusable shopping bags and tote bags. But on the tote bags - how about those really neat ones that fold and zipper up into a small pouch?
I would like to add to these comments that you might want to consider items that are of good design, functional and if supporting your brand logo have high style.Think W Hotel design.Travel stuff for the needs of todays travelers. The past items for sale were not in full step with the market place. You need folks that have a eye/ flair for merchandising. The luggage tags were fine However it would be nice to have hard to find items like metal luggage tags instead of plastic and leather tags break or tear easily. For clothing sweats and tees quality fabric with great looking logos. Not the generic looking stuff of the years past with ok design.Have a little cool factor with the new generation of travelers that like I phones and I pads as well as the older that want to be a part of a special cool group the new MilePoint generation! Happy to assist!
