I'm on the high end, 267xxxxxxx, but that's because I was PMNW. I did have a 9-digit 490xxxxxx WorldPerks number that was lower than anyone my age I knew.
My DL SkyMiles number is 100XXXXXXX. I'm pretty sure it's from 1981. My old WorldPerks number, probably also from about 1981, was 185XXXXXX.
024XXXXXXX. Joined a looong time ago, probably right after they started around 1981, but I'm sure there are plenty of real road warriors on the board with lower numbers. Rest of the family got in later, they're all 20XXXXXXXX or 25XXXXXXXX.
Mine is 201xxxx but they changed the number sometime in the early 1990's, but I do not remember why. I signed up immediately after I heard about the program, in mid-1981. It became SkyMiles in the mid-1990's IIRC, about the time they changed my number. It was really generous at the very beginning. 10,000 miles just to sign up!
243 (9 digits total) for me ( should be around 2002). I was PMNW though (My NW was 9 digits, starting w/ 929)
10 digits: 203xxxxxxx. Rest of the family is 225xxxxxxx. Honestly can't remember anymore (since I started using Google spreadsheets and throwing away all the old paper, even from TWA Ambassador, what it was with NWA.
The one I use is 241xxxxxxx. I am told by someone in the loop that I have a SM number (dormant) that starts with 400xxxxxxx though.

My original DL number started with 206...but it had hardly any miles on it (some PHL-BOS flights, IIRC). In 1991, as a Pan Am refugee, I was given another account starting with 400xxxxxxx (all former Pan Am Worldpass members who had accounts transferred to Delta start with a "4" I believe). Since I had over 350K+ from Pan Am, the 4000xxxx number prevailed and lives on till today....
It's pretty common in mergers for a digit in front to be added as a way to be sure that there's no overlap between the different groups of numbers and to be able to identify the origins of various account numbers.
I don't know. I thought the early numbers were generally ten-digit, including the old PanAm numbers, with moire recent ones, including those who migrated from NW, having twelve digits.
Mine starts with 261 and signed up in 2007. My mom is 229 and I think she was around 2000-2002 but not sure
