So far I have only found one hotel in Jerusalem from one of the big chains (a crown plaza)...are there any others that I am missing?

Are you planning on using points? What * level would you like?

To my knowledge, there is only the Crowne Plaza and the Ramada in terms of global hotel chains with a presence in Jerusalem. There are many other hotels however in the city - David Citadel, Inbal, King David, Dan Hotel, Prima Kings, Leonardo Plaza, Mamilla, etc. Those would need to be with cash I guess.

So nothing besides the Crowne Plaza that I can use the standard points on? SPG...Hilton...Priority club...Marriott?

Not that I can think of off the top of my head. Ramada I believe is a Wyndham redemption option.

My pleasure. If you have any questions about other places in the country, I can try to help as well.

Hopefully a Waldorf (Hilton points) sometime in the future...

True, but that hotel has been delayed who knows how many times. I wouldn't bank on that being open until it actually opens.

We were there last year. I have points everywhere but the only place I used them were at the Sheraton in Tel Aviv. In Jerusalem, I looked for location and value and our small group stayed at the Dan Panorama. We paid for Club Level and it was a good deal. Good location too. I can recommend it but there are lots of good hotels -tho most are more expensive. Did have cocktails one day at the King David and it was special (stayed there many years ago).

Either way, Israel is Israel and you will have an incredible trip!
