Will Hyatt EVER announce their Spring 2011 Promo?

LOL, I dont think she was. I dont think the reps have a clue. For all I know, we may hear about it tomm??

Yeah, I know. It just makes things tricky when trying to schedule stays based on the best promos out there. Hyatt is really dragging their feet on this one, so I'll likely end up laying my hear at *woods and Radissons in the next couple of months. Speaking of drunk reps....I'm a little thirsty myself.

Why? I think this is a good way to go - save the $ that would be spent and then buy the suite/upgrade that you want when you want it.

All is quiet then on the Hyatt front.

My rep emailed me today, said she got news, but couldnt say what, not that she prob knows, that it will be announced at the end of March. Not sure how accurate this is, just passing along the message.

Why would they say the announcement was coming March 1st, then not deliver...poor form!

This is what we received:

"if you receive questions or inquiries on the next Global Hyatt Gold Passport Promotion, please advise 'we are currently working a new Global Promotion, which should launch the end of March 2011' "

That's it. I still believe it will be points, not free nights.

I saw some people reporting that their PL agent said March 1, but all references to FB seem to report "early March" or just "March". I looked through the FT thread last night for any evidence that March 1 was officially announced, and didn't find anything.

Just checked, and they posted no later than March 15th now for the details of the new promotion...

So no ball has been dropped yet other than the ball we put into play among ourselves.

It appears so...I read on another web site () the quote about them posting on Facebook that it would be announced by March 1st. I didn't research it and took the respected posters word for it...

The Hyatt Gold Passport page posted today that the promo will be announced no later than March 15 on Facebook.

For those who wish to read HGP's response on Facebook in full (around 2pm Eastern Time, US) which also sidestepped the issue of G promotions this month by noting a bit url (there are some which do exist in California and one or two other western US states)....

So where are the details on the new Spring promo? I know it won't be FFN, but we've been waiting anxiously for any details. Also, no G promos in the USA for any Hyatts?

Finally, the hyatt.com site is in major need of fixing. The server errors are getting out of hand.

A reader of lucky's blog posted this info for Hyatt's upcoming promo. If it is accurate, then it is truly underwhelming, and there will be many disappointed Gold Passport members. BTW, I am only a messenger, and I will be very displeased if this is in fact the promo.

This would be AWFUL!!!

I would be surprised if this was THE promo that we've been waiting for - Note that the reference to "resort" would limit this promo to a handful of properties - it could be "another" promo that is being launched.

Agreed, I don't think it's even worth fretting over it.
