You fly to a city where your good friends live but don't see them because you are just flying right back home.

Your idea of an ideal holiday is doing MRs everyday and sleeping on the red-eyes.

You only visit places that have hotels on the point break list!

Your friends make fun of you due to your addiction but in reality they are just jealous you get to fly in Business/First while they are in the back of a Southwest aircraft.

Other than your home airport, you don't know what the outside of an airport looks like

People wonder why you were in Cleveland for a day. In March.

You're not sure how many countries you've visited. When someone asks, you say, "Define country" to buy time so you can attempt to count before they answer.

You look at a flight you took a few years ago and wonder, "Why the frak would I go there for just a day?"

Then you remember the hipster Vietnamese restaurant you went to.

You purchased the item below online because you received 40 miles per dollar spent.. You have no idea what it is, what it does, or why you need it.

The FA, upon seeing you seated next to your spouse, says "It is so nice to meet you Mrs jbc, I have heard so much about you over the years." whereupon Mrs jbc replies "you must be, say, Tammy. I have heard a lot about you too." Then the two of them chat away, mostly about me and ignore me.

That, or something quite similar, is proof of a deep addiction to travel. The miles and points are part and parcel.

You pass another million miles on your favorite FF program and immediately plot how to get the next million even more quickly so you can get more free upgrades on your next MR's.

Corollary: You take MR's in order to get more upgrades on MR's

You run into the same lounge agent multiple times in a day and all they ask is "Mileage Run?" :)

You take advantage of the DQMs promo (UA & AA) just to fly from ORD to SFO, just to get a really fresh loaf of Sour Dough Bread.

Please, please tell me what it is for! I really need to know; it just sits on my shelf looking cool but I have no idea what it does other than give me miles.

Tell them it was because we were busy setting high temperature records and golfing when there should have been snow on the ground. :)

You have multiple one day stays at local hotels and if a close relative ever saw your statement they would think that you are having an affair!

You were buying heavily discounted Lebron Jerseys and getting 40 points per dollar spent lol

Looks like the item from the movie The Box " I have an offer to make. If you push the button, two things will happen. First, someone, somewhere in the world, whom you don't know, will die. Second, you will receive a payment of one million dollars. You have 24 hours."

Have for multiple nights arrived on the late night ORD-SFO flight, shower in the Admirals Club and then spend the night on a terminal bench waiting for the return red-eye ... and then did it all over again
