    Good point, horseguy!
First post edited, let me know if I should add more :)

Looks great to me! But then again, what the heck do I know? I thought the last one looked great, and I completely missed this issue. I am getting senile. When I was in my 20's, I would have noticed this immediately.

OTOH, I noticed so many little details back then that I annoyed the heck out of people. I guess a little bit a senility does have some benefits.

Senility has some benefits. I keep forgetting I have already long passed my Kiva budget for the month, but keep on lending. OTOH, some distinctly non-senile milepointers ar doing that this month (and, it seems, every month). OTOH, I still seem to manage to annoy people.

I just bought a totally unnecessary new car yesterday so I made some new loans in penance.

DUPLICATE MESSAGE -- so shoot me!

MORE PLEDGES PLEASE. We've collected on the $300k pledges. Now need some additional ones for $400k, $600k, $700k, $750k, $800k and $900k. Then we need BIG ones (little ones too) at $500k and at $1 million.

PLEDGE NOW. Let's also consider a Thankgiving pledge -- hope that doesn't screw up the pledges spreadsheet.

I've never celebrated Thanks Giving. Looks like my first one will be virtual. I will make one loan but sorry I won't eat turkey that day.

Added to the spreadsheet :) There's room for more!

American Airlines' representative is still alone here - when will the next airline/hotel chain join the team? ;)

I just fulfilled my pledge (unrecorded) for passing $300,000. In the process I fully funding the remaining four loans from Moçambique. That is the only Portugese speaking country in Kiva now so I felt obligated. That is a bit of tortured logic i have not been able to use before to justify a Kiva loan.

This is really astounding! We are #2 for lending this month among ALL teams as well as Common Interest.:) Only the Atheists rank about us. We are climbing the ranks of new members too, as more people join our party.:D In my wildest dreams I never expected we'd make $100,000 this month, much less keep on going unabated. Wow!!

A medieval axiom: Bonum diffusivum sui = Goodness spreads by itself .

Disclosure: As an undergraduate, I had a major in medieval philosophy.

And they have 50 times the number of members we do!

If we can pass the Christians (about 21x larger, memberwise) it will be a sweep of some sort.

I'm really proud be a part of our team.

I misread and thought you were quoting the apparent motto of a few companies I know of:

    Wonderful offer.
Too bad you didn't make it a month or so ago, as I have already added $1000 in new money in recent weeks. But I will think about adding another $1000.

Sounds like we need to get Kiva into East Timor so you can do more Portugese speaking loans.

Having been to East Timor I know they would benefit from Kiva.

Good point. Not too many people I know have been there. Timor Leste, oddly means East east, as you undoubtedly know.

We ran to the top of the hill with the big statue of Jesus then back down then halfway up then down then up a bit. We just kept on running.

I did love riding a push bike in the Dili peak hour traffic after work.

I'd enjoy that too. I have never been there. From time to time I see people from there in airport lounges, their accent is unmistakeable.

Hard to make sure I put in enough extra loans for my pledge if others' pledges are unrecorded or I'm not informed. Added another 5 loans in penance.
