A glossary of terms used frequently in the Hilton | HHonors forum on MilePoint.

AXON - An award type.... A multi night award stay starting at 4 nights that is typically discounted by 20 percent or more of the standard points required for a single night stay. It is for holders of Hilton American express cards. These must be booked by calling reservations.

BAR ("Best Available Rate") -- A rate type that is not necessarily the best available rate.

GLON - An award type.... Going Global is a multi night award stay starting at 6 nights that is typically discounted by 20 percent or more of the standard points required for a single night stay. It is for Hilton Silver, Gold, and Diamond VIP elite members.
