ITA Airways joins Star Alliance
In a move surprising exactly no one, ITA Airways has formally joined Star Alliance. ITA Airways marked its entry into the Alliance during a ceremony held at the Piazza di Spagna Lounge, Rome Fiumicino Airport Terminal 3. The ceremony was presided over by ITA Airways Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Joerg Eberhart, Star Alliance Chief Executive Officer Theo Panagiotoulias, and Lufthansa Group Chief Commercial Officer Dieter Vranckx, in the presence of media and institutional guests. Bilt Card’s Seamless Switch Ends Feb. 1 — No Hard Pull, Same Card Number
This weekend is the last opportunity for existing Bilt Rewards cardmembers from Wells Fargo to ‘seamlessly transition’ to one of Bilt’s new cards. TAP Air Portugal Selects Terminal 6 at JFK For Its Future Operations
TAP Air Portugal announced last week that it will move its operations to the upcoming Terminal 6 at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK). It is the 16th carrier to sign on. Lufthansa City Airlines takes flight in Frankfurt
Lufthansa’s airline within an airline – Lufthansa City Airlines has launched operations at Frankfurt am Main Airport. The launch at the airline’s main hub of Frankfurt follows its commencement of operations at Munich Airport last year. The first flight, VL946, took off from Frankfurt to Manchester in the late afternoon and was operated by an Airbus A320neo with the registration D-AIJN (named Kaufbeuren).
