Emirates’ EK317 flight connects Dubai with Osaka’s Kansai International Airport and is part of the airline’s upgraded service that began in June 2024.
Aircraft and Cabin Layout
- Emirates introduced a four‑class Airbus A380 on the Osaka route, replacing the previous Boeing 777‑300ER.
- The A380 configuration includes 14 First Class suites on the Upper Deck, 76 lie‑flat Business Class seats on the Upper Deck, 56 Premium Economy seats on the Lower Deck forward section, and 338 Economy Class seats on the Lower Deck.
Capacity and Demand
- With the new A380 operations, Emirates added 910 weekly seats between Dubai and Osaka.
- In 2023, the airline carried more than 220,000 passengers on over 360 flights between the two cities.
Service Frequency
- The A380 service began on 1 June 2024 and operates as flight EK316 outbound from Dubai and EK317 inbound to Dubai.
