It’s Official: Delta Is Launching Flights Between Salt Lake City and Seoul In June 2025
Delta Air Lines officially announced today that Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) will see new flights to Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) starting on June 12th. This will be the first transpacific route the airport will serve in more than a decade. The route will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. These offer 32 Delta One® (Delta’s best enclosed suite product is on this aircraft type), 48 Delta Premium Select, 36 Comfort+, and 190 Main Cabin seats. Korean Air is upgrading its premium passenger experience with the completion of extensive lounge renovations at Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN). This is part of a broader service enhancement strategy tied to its evolving brand and upcoming integration with Asiana Airlines. South Korea’s Parata Air Takes Flight and Eyes US Expansion
South Korea’s newest airline, Parata Air, officially launched scheduled flights on September 30th. The carrier’s inaugural commercial flight, operated by an Airbus A330-200, departed Seoul Gimpo International Airport (GMP) for Yangyang International Airport (YNY). This restored commercial service to the coastal city for the first time since Fly Gangwon abruptly ceased operations in May 2023. Air Premia Begins Flights Between San Francisco and Seoul Incheon International Airport
Air Premia is a South Korean carrier that operated its first international passenger service in July 2022. Since then, it started flying between Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) and Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
