Air Canada Adds 7 New Routes, 5 New Destinations for Summer 2027
Air Canada has announced new European destinations for summer 2026. The airline will introduce new non-stop routes from Montréal, Toronto, and Halifax, while also resuming service between Montréal and Tel Aviv. These updates follow the recent announcement of new A321XLR routes to Palma de Mallorca (PMI), Toulouse (TLS), Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI), and Porto (OPO). Aeroplan devaluing award chart, but it could be worse
Air Canada announced a couple of days ago that it’ll be updating its award chart from June 1, 2026. Unfortunately the most prevalent change is an increase, with ~85% of the bands requiring more Aeroplan points. That does mean that ~15% of the pricing bands do see a decrease, but that’ll be scant consolation for most people.
