My trip to Scotland required a couple of short flights to get from London, and then to Paris at the end. (The return trip involved a flight on Air France’s Premium Economy, after all.) American Airlines is Adding More Premium Seats to Its Airbus A319 and A320 Cabins
American Airlines is rolling out newly retrofitted Airbus A319 and Airbus A320 aircraft this summer to bring more premium seating, upgraded interiors, and enhanced passenger amenities to its narrow-body fleet. Finally: First Class Known as “Blue First” Will Begin Flying on JetBlue in October
Back in December, I wrote about JetBlue finally adding a First Class cabin fleetwide but we did not know when it would begin flying on any of the carrier’s aircraft. One of the reasons I don’t fly the airline is due to its lack of a premium cabin, but that’s about to change since we’ll start to see First Class known as “Blue First” taking to the skies in October. Initial estimates touted about 20 aircraft per month seeing the installation of new seats. We’ll see how this holds as JetBlue gets updating its fleet. >
