NEW ROUTES 2026 #3: Korean Air’s new Prestige Suites for Sydney
Korean Air has introduced the Prestige Suites 2.0 in Business Class for flights out of Sydney on its 787-10 Dreamliners from November 2025. I’m doing a series of posts on new routes in and out of Australia. Some are actually new routes, and some are new in the sense of having new aircraft, updated interiors, or other innovations. Looks like there will be nine posts in the series. I’ve already covered, and you can read about Turkish Airlines’ soon-to-be nonstop flights between Australia and Europe and Cathay Pacific’s revived route between Adelaide and Hong Kong. Korean Air, a

Air Canada has just unveiled the new cabins for its Boeing 787-10 and Airbus A321XLR aircraft that will be coming into the fleet, and its new “Glowing Hearted” design language. I spoke to the airline’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mark Nasr, to learn more about the products and the airline’s plans to carry those through the rest of its fleet. We’ve seen a lot of new product refreshes – within the last year American Airlines debuted their new Boeing 787-9 business class and their Airbus A321XLR. The Best Economy Legroom Ever (on an LCC!?!): Tokyo to Seoul on an Air Premia Boeing 787

As per the latest data, the route between Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita is the fifth busiest international route in the world, with over 4.15 million passengers flying this in 2023. As per Summer 2024 schedules, a total of thirteen airlines’ aircraft ploughed between the two, with flights departing at all times of day and night. These include each of Korea’s ten scheduled passenger airlines, alongside the relatively new Dreamliner operating low-cost subsidiaries Air Japan and

First Look Inside American Airlines New A321XLR — Business Class Suites With Doors On A Narrowbody, Better Premium Economy And Hot Meals In Coach
American Airlines launches its new Airbus A321XLR aircraft next week. It’s the extended range narrowbody that’s being used for ‘long, thin’ routes – a small plane doesn’t need as many passengers to cover its costs and make money, and this one can fly from the Northeast across the Atlantic, or from the South to parts of South America. This opens up new opportunities for the airline to fly routes that don’t have enough demand for widebodies like a Boeing 777 or 787. It needs to be premium, though, to make money with fewer passengers. So they have plenty of

ANA’s 777 Premium Economy: Surprisingly Average
To conclude my review trip across the world, I flew ANA’s 777 premium economy from Tokyo to London, a 14h 40m flight. Japan Airlines and ANA are both powerhouses in the airline industry, and I wanted to try the newest premium economy cabins they had on offer. I flew Japan Airlines’ A350 premium economy in January, and wanted to see how ANA compared. My ANA flight was good, though I feel like there was a clear winner. In fact, based on my experience with ANA, I’d consider their premium economy a notch below the best – definitely below Qantas
