British Airways’ Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliner business class (Club World) is arranged in a 2‑3‑2 layout, with the middle seats (E) facing rearward and the window seats (A and K) offering the most privacy.

Top Seat Choices

  • Window seats A and K – These seats are next to the fuselage, give direct window views and are the most secluded from aisle traffic, making them the preferred option for most travelers.
  • Rear‑facing middle seats E – Because they face backward, they avoid the forward‑facing “sardine” feel of the other middle seats and are considered a solid second‑choice if a window seat isn’t available. However, they border two other seats, so you may catch a glimpse of neighboring passengers when the seat dividers are down.
  • Forward‑facing middle seats B, D, F, and J – These seats are exposed to the aisle, provide little protection from crew and fellow passengers walking by, and are generally regarded as the least comfortable business‑class positions on this aircraft.

I’m doing a series of posts on new routes to and from Australia. Some are actually new routes,
