United Takes Delivery of 787-10: What To Expect On Latest Dreamliner
For United, its Boeing Dreamliner family is complete. United took delivery of its first 787-10, the largest aircraft in the Dreamliner series. United will now become the first airline in the world to operate the entire Dreamliner range—the 787-8, 787-9, and now 787-10. Come January, it will also be the first North American airline to fly the 787-10, when it criss-crosses the U.S. between its hubs on the east and west coasts. Review: KLM Business Class Boeing 787-10
To kick off our trip to Europe, we flew KLM business class from Chicago to Amsterdam. While I’ve flown KLM’s business class several times before (including on the A330 and the 787-9), I was excited about this flight because it was operated by a Boeing 787-10. Not only does this plane have a different business class seat than KLM’s other 787s, but it would also only be the second time I flew on the 787-10 (with the other flight being on United). British Airways sets first Boeing 787-10 route
British Airway will be receiving its first Boeing 787-10 soon – and the first route it’s going to serve is Atlanta. The aircraft will serve the Atlanta route from February 2020 onwards. United Actually Removing Seats from Planes to Add Premium Economy, More Business Class
United’s roll out of Polaris business class seats continues slowly apace, with work on some Boeing 777s which will apparently be the only ones getting retrofits now without premium economy, future retrofits will include premium economy and there’s not been a timetable announced. United tells me there are two Boeing 767s in Hong Kong for retrofit currently, with the next one scheduled to go in there in June. Korean Air Unveils New Business Class: Prestige Suites 2.0
Korean Air has unveiled its new Business Class suites, named Prestige Suites 2.0. Scheduled to debut on its Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on July 23, these suites are designed to offer enhanced privacy and advanced high-tech features. Each suite features high walls and sliding doors for enhanced privacy. This is the first time Korean Air has opted for a fully private suite in Business Class.
