A person got onto the Denver International Airport (DIA) tarmac by breaching the airport’s perimeter security.
How the breach occurred
The individual jumped the airport perimeter fence just two minutes before the Frontier Airlines Airbus A321neo began its takeoff roll. Airport footage showed the fence was intact, indicating the person deliberately scaled it rather than exploiting a break. Officials do not believe the trespasser was an airport employee or had any official connection to the facility.
