Very Short Haul Done Very Well: Abu Dhabi to Doha on a Qatar Airways 737 MAX
Having booked Etihad Airways’ promotional fare from Rome to Abu Dhabi to sample the delights of their Boeing 777-300ER for almost nothing, I now needed to find a reasonably cheap way to get back to Britain. Whilst plenty of options exist for those needing to travel between the United Arab Emirates and Britain, most options that weekend seemed to be priced at above-average levels unless I fancied squeezing myself into a Pegasus or Wizz Air seat for the long journey back via Istanbul or Bucharest. Fortunately, having a few miles to spend in my British Airways Executive Club account,

Review: American Airlines 737 MAX 8 Bermuda to New York
For my outbound, I flew BermudAir from New York (LGA) to Bermuda (BDA) and had a pleasant flight. For my return, BermudAir was not offering any flights to the New York City area on Presidents Day Monday, so the nonstop options included Delta, American & United. While I preferred the slightly later times of Delta & United, American was the cheapest, so it was booked. American Airlines Flight 281 New York (LGA) to Bermuda (BDA) Scheduled Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes (10 minutes late) Seat/Cabin: 26C, Economy Aircraft: Boeing 737 MAX 8 We were

Review: Icelandair Saga Business Class Boeing 737 MAX (JFK-KEF)
To kick off my Iceland to The Residence via Cambodia trip, I flew Icelandair’s Boeing 737 MAX 8 Saga Class on the 4hr40min flight from New York (JFK) to Keflavik (KEF). I hadn’t flown Icelandair in over a decade, so I was looking forward to seeing what the carrier’s product is like on its latest generation aircraft. I think the first thing worth emphasizing is that Icelandair’s premium cabin is called Saga Class (or Saga Premium), and it’s somewhere between premium economy and business class. As you can see, I referred to the product as “Saga Business Class” in
