Outside of their home country, Croatia, it may be fair to suggest that Trade Air is not a particularly well-known carrier, especially amongst non-enthusiasts. However having first taken to the skies in May 1995, the airline has been around for quite some time and outlived a number of Croatian airlines. Primarily specialising in charter services, at the time of my flight in March 2020, Trade Air’s fleet consisted of a single Airbus A319, four Airbus A320s and of note amongst enthusiasts, a rare Fokker 100. Having finally gotten around to booking Trade Air’s Croatian island hopper service, I needed a way to get from London to Croatia. With a weekend plus Monday off work, and wishing to maximise my time in the country seeing as this would be my first visit to Croatia, I decided to search for the cheapest and most direct option – with this ideally leaving on Saturday morning or late on Friday night. Trip Report: Zagreb primeclass lounge and Turkish Airlines Regional Business Class
After about one week visiting Croatia, I had to go to Saudi Arabia for some meetings. (so much for the name of my website) From the main bus station in Zagreb, the airport bus took around 30-35 minutes. After spending a couple of hours flying down from Stansted on a cramped and boiling hot Lauda Europe Airbus A320, I arrived in Zagreb and made it through Croatian immigration with a little under three hours to spare until my flight down to Split. T’Way Air to kick off its first international route to Zagreb
It seems that South Korean airline T’Way Air is starting to accelerate its plans to serve Europe – while aiding Asiana Airlines and Korean Air in the process. T’Way Air’s first European destination will be Zagreb, Croatia. The airline plans to serve the Croatian capital three times a week from the 16th of May. T’way Air Will Launch Flights Between Seoul (Incheon) and Zagreb
T’way Air is a South Korean low-cost carrier based in Seoul. Last week, it launched flights between Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) and Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport (ZAG) in Croatia. This marks T’way Air as the first South Korean low-cost carrier to connect Seoul with Europe. During our team’s 2024 last-minute-travel challenge, Flying by the Seat of our Points, each of the contestants found excellent award flights. In this post, I’ve described step by step (to the best of my memory) how I found each award.
