TRIP REPORT: TK54 Istanbul to Singapore (Business Class)
Can a soft product make up for a classic hard business product? Let’s take a look as I fly aboard Turkish Airlines in one of the 777-300ERs… In this mammoth trip report (note, headings subject to change) TK54 to Istanbul Airport to Singapore Changi Terminal 1 As I managed to clear the run of Istanbul Airport thanks to my memory and a small burgundy booklet, I headed down the jetbridge to the waiting aircraft. Business Class entrance (there were twin jetbridges at this gate, one for business class, one for economy). I

Happy 100th: American Airlines Unveils Centennial Livery and Enhanced Flagship Experience
With just six months remaining until American Airlines marks its centennial, the carrier is unveiling a new special-edition livery that celebrates nearly a century of aviation excellence. The design, which will debut in November on a Boeing 777-300ER registered as N735AT, pays homage to American’s past while symbolizing its commitment to a modern, forward-looking future. The centennial livery reimagines one of American’s original designs, incorporating the Silver Eagle® paint scheme now seen across more than 1,600 aircraft in the airline’s mainline and regional fleet. A bold orange lightning bolt motif stretches across both sides of the fuselage (a striking

Review: Qatar Airways Qsuites Business Class Boeing 777 (DOH-BKK)
After flying Qatar Airways’ 777-300ER first class from Male to Doha, and spending a couple of nights at the Park Hyatt Doha, it was time to return to the United States. Specifically, we flew Qatar Airways’ Boeing 777-200LR Qsuites business class from Doha (DOH) to Dallas (DFW). I’ve flown Qatar Airways’ Qsuites before, on both the Airbus A350-1000 and Boeing 777-300ER, and was looking forward to checking out the 777-200LR, along with seeing how the product is holding up in general. Qatar Airways continues to excel with its business class product, and this flight was no exception. From

American Boeing 777-300ER Retrofits: Fancy New Cabins Coming, At A Cost
American Airlines recently rolled out a new passenger experience on its long haul flights, particularly with the introduction of its Flagship Suite business class, as well as its front-row Flagship Suite Preferred. While this product is finally being offered on newly delivered Boeing 787-9s that are assigned certain routes, we’re also going to see some existing planes reconfigured. The first planes to get reconfigured will be Boeing 777-300ERs, and there’s now an interesting update, as the first plane has reportedly just headed into the “shop” to get a full makeover, as reported by @xJonNYC. Let’s cover all the details.

Review: EVA Air 777-300ER Business Class Taipei To Chicago
My 13.5-hour journey from Taipei to Chicago on EVA Air on the 777-300ER in “Royal Laurel” business class was very pleasant and the Taiwanese carrier is able to pull off something most carriers cannot: offer what is in many ways is a very “old school” product but pull it off so well. United Airlines Boeing 777-300ER Premium Economy Class Review SFO-MNL
I recently flew in United Premium Plus (premium economy) on the United Airlines Boeing 777-300ER SFO-MNL flight from San Francisco to Manila. This United Airlines premium economy review will talk about seats, food, amenities and so on. I had booked this flight (along with connecting flights from Cincinnati to Houston to San Francisco) for 65,000 United Airlines miles. The first 2 flights were in economy, so not too exciting. After rushing to the gate, we waited around for a bit but eventually we were ready to board our next flight, in United Airlines premium economy on a Boeing 777-300ER.
