Marriott Bonvoy points transfer to United MileagePlus at a 3‑to‑1 ratio, meaning three Bonvoy points become one United mile. When you transfer 60,000 Bonvoy points at once, United adds a 10,000‑mile bonus, giving you a total of 30,000 miles. This bonus is separate from the 25 % conversion bonus that United sometimes offers on hotel point transfers, which does not apply to the Marriott bonus miles. To start the transfer, log into your Marriott Bonvoy account, navigate to the “Transfer Points” section, select United MileagePlus as the partner, and enter the number of points you wish to move. Confirm the transfer and allow a short processing time; the miles usually appear in your United account shortly after. United MileagePlus also accepts transfers from Chase Ultimate Rewards, Bilt Rewards, and other hotel programs, typically at a 1‑to‑1 or 3‑to‑1 ratio depending on the source. Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be moved directly to United at a 1‑to‑1 rate, providing a quick way to boost your mileage balance. Bilt Rewards points are transferable to United, though you should check Bilt’s current conversion details for the exact ratio. When converting hotel points from other programs, United may offer a 25 % bonus on the converted miles, but this bonus does not apply to the Marriott‑specific 10,000‑mile bonus. United has brought back their annual bonus for converting hotel points to MileagePlus miles. This time they have gone back to a flat bonus of 25% rather than the tiered bonus we only saw in 2024. The 2025 offer of 25% is lower than the 30% we saw as the max bonus in 2024 and the flat rate bonus in 2023 and previous years before that.
