Finnair’s A350 economy cabin combines several design elements that together determine how much legroom passengers get and how comfortable the seats feel.
Legroom Characteristics
- The standard economy seats are arranged in a 3‑3‑3 configuration with a seat pitch of roughly 31 inches, which sets the baseline legroom for most passengers.
- Bulk‑head rows, such as row 31 on the A350, are highlighted as offering the best legroom in the cabin. 🔗
- “Economy Comfort” seats provide up to 35 inches of pitch, and on some aircraft (e.g., A330) the pitch can reach 37 inches, giving extra space compared with regular seats.
- Exit‑row seats in the rear cabin also feature increased legroom, making them a popular choice for taller travelers.🔗
Comfort Features
- Seats are equipped with supportive headrests and generous recline, contributing to overall comfort during the flight.
- The seat width is 18 inches across both standard and Economy Comfort seats, offering a consistent width throughout the cabin. 🔗
- Each seat includes USB‑A charging ports, though 110 V power outlets are not available. 🔗
- Storage options such as under‑seat compartments and literature pockets add to the convenience and perceived comfort of the seats. 🔗
- The cabin’s 3‑3‑3 layout ensures that aisle, middle, and window seats have similar width, allowing passengers to choose based on personal preference without sacrificing space.🔗

Review: Finnair A350 Economy Class, Premium Seat (HEL-LHR)
| THE ALVIATOR'S VERDICT This is one of the most glamorous ways to travel intra-Europe. My only minor gripe is that I'd have expected these seats to be free of charge to select if you're already on a premium economy itinerary | 4.5 | As the last leg of my mad trip to Shanghai and Helsinki, I flew Finnair’s A350 economy class from Helsinki to London. This was off the back of a premium economy itinerary that I had flown from Shanghai, and I decided to purchase an upgrade to a premium seat on this shorthaul leg, as it

To HEL and back – two more (almost) Heavenly Finnair flights!
Three years ago, I had four pretty nice flights with Finnair. On this occasion, I was particularly looking forward to trying their Airbus 350 for what would be my 1201st flight ever! Booking: 9/10 Finnair runs the only direct service from Bangkok to Helsinki (HEL). During the Finnish winter, the airline offers 16 services a week -mostly for Finns escaping the Northern hemisphere’s cold. From April, the number of flights runs a daily service with a morning departure from Bangkok at 0855 arriving Helsinki at 15:05. The return flight is an overnighter departing HEL at 17:35 and
