British Airways Second Best Jet Just Arrived In London…
The landing was smooth, the delivery was anything but, but in the end, British Airways best newest jet, the Boeing 787-10 arrived in London over the weekend, to almost zero fanfare. Queue the “because of covid” music, but that doesn’t change the upbeat tune around this new delivery. It’s not Concorde, but the cabins inside will easily make it one of BA’s best ever planes. Unlike the Airbus A350, British Airways chose to retain a first class cabin on this latest and greatest stretched out version of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and in each cabin you’ll find British Airways

Review: United Airlines 787-10 Economy Class
Sometimes I will decline and upgrade even when it is is available. My supply of upgrade instruments is not unlimited and I made the choice to remain behind the curtain on my flight from Newark to Frankfurt. First, the flight is so short I cannot even get a great rest even if I skip dinner and breakfast. Second, I thought a review of economy class might be more helpful to readers than another Polaris review. But what sold me most on sticking with economy class is that the flight was lightly filled. So light, in fact, that I

The American Airlines Boeing 787. Here’s What It’s Like in Economy.
Most people flying American’s new Boeing 787 aren’t going to be enjoying the flat bed business class seats with all aisle access. Most passengers are going to be flying in American Airlines 787 economy. In fact, for the inaugural Dallas – Chicago flight on the aircraft I flew in coach myself. I flew up front for the return, Chicago – Dallas. That way, I could experience both and compare. I flew in seat 10J, which is a ‘Main Cabin Extra‘ (extra legroom) aisle seat. And it was perfectly fine. The extra legroom does make a difference, compared

Review: Asiana Airlines Economy Class, A380 LAX – ICN
My wife and I split our time between Seoul, South Korea and Phoenix, AZ these days. That means we make trans-Pacific round trips 3-5 times per year. We mostly fly Asiana Airlines economy class, as we find the experience is better than U.S. airlines. This past week I flew Asiana’s Los Angeles – Incheon route on the biggest passenger jet in the sky, the A380. As usual, it was a solidly pleasant experience. And I managed to hit the jackpot: an entire seat section to myself! Or what I like to call “poor man’s business class”. We are “Asiana

Air India’s New 787-9 Has Arrived in Toronto – Now Comes the Hard Part
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to hop on board Air India’s brand-new Boeing 787-9 at Toronto Pearson (YYZ), this time without actually going anywhere. Air India was showcasing the aircraft now operating seven of its ten weekly flights between Toronto and New Delhi (DEL). I have already flown Air India’s new 787-9 in Business Class from Mumbai (BOM) to Frankfurt (FRA) and came away genuinely impressed with both the new hard product and, perhaps more importantly, the onboard service. So during the media event in Toronto, I wasn’t particularly interested in spending all my time in Business Class again
